How much data do you need?
Depends on what you are doing with your mobile account. You can run multiple tariffs to different SIMs and still be in full control of your account.
With MIA you can send data spending limits and notifications, so that if a user is nearing their limit you can either increase their allowance or cap their usage.
You are in control.
• 1-5GB
Light usage: predominate usage is on WiFi and / or no or little need for data.
• 5-20GB
Medium usage: documents are sent and downloaded via mobile data, travel outside of WiFi zones.
• Unlimited
Heavy usage: Download media and documents frequently, predominantly not in WiFi locations.
Roaming
Roaming is when a SIM card designated to one network is used on a different one. For example, when you are abroad, and you can still use your mobile.
Roaming bars can be placed and removed on your mobile account either by contacting us, or through our mobile management platform, MIA.
• Bundles
Depending on which UK carrier you are using will depend on the options available to you, we have a handy blog post here which details what you can have. If you’re at all unsure, please contact us and we’ll help you get the right solution.
• Benefits of VoIP abroad
If your business means frequent travel abroad then a VoIP system could be what you need. With the ability to download the relevant software to your laptop and mobile handset you can make (and receive) calls at low/no cost. All you’ll need is an internet connection.

Your questions answered
M2M SIMs
Whether your business is in transportation or retail, healthcare or manufacturing, whatever you do, integration of IoT (the Internet of Things) is now an essential part of operating. From managing the temperatures of buildings through to traffic control in your local area connectivity is now essential to effective and efficient operations.
How to improve customer experience
Customer experience (CX) is the be all and end all for businesses; it is the difference in churn, repeat business and no business at all. Using IoT your business can implement tracking for all shipped orders, notification on arrival for transportation, make paying for goods and services easier, the list is endless.
How to understand customer behaviour better
Profiling your customers easily and precisely by monitoring purchasing patterns and social media interactions for example. Targeting can become far more defined, increasing sales.
Can I reduce operating costs?
By monitoring exact usage of particular resources businesses can make sure they order only what is essential for creation of products. Wastage is reduced and operating costs are brought down in turn.
Do you offer mobile broadband?
Yes! With a MiFi device you can access the internet wherever you are, giving you the flexibility to connect up to 6 devices at once.
What is MiFi?
A MiFi device acts as a wireless router. It has a SIM card inside that allows up to six devices (including laptops, tablets and mobile phones) to connect at any one time; really handy when you’re on the move or working remotely. It can also be a fantastic back-up solution for lost connections.
Mobile broadband is more popular than ever, thanks in part to:
- decreases in monthly costs
- increases in data allowances
- increases in speed (up to 40MB with 4G)
- the range of MiFi devices available on the market.
How much does Mobile Broadband cost?
We have a range of plans available, with 5G tariffs starting from as little as £6 per month for unlimited calls and texts with 2GB data.
We also offer data allowances of up to 8GB per month.
How do I get back-up?
If you’re running a business that needs connectivity to run, then you need to think about what happens if you lose your connection.
It could mean no sales, if your terminals don’t work – you can’t take money.
By using a router with multi-network SIM capacity your connection will be secure and online 24/7.
In a nutshell, if your connectivity fails, the mobile broadband will kick in, so you stay connected.
