There’s been a lot of recent changes to tariffs in recent months, so for our customers who are likely to business travel we thought we’d do a round up of how it might affect you, to make you aware of options that may work harder for your spend.
Which Network Are You On?
Each network offers a different level of inclusion depending on where you are travelling to, so it’s important that you know which network and tariff you’re on. This is clearly written on your last invoice from us, or if you use MIA it will be accessible on your account, but if you’re at all unsure, please just ask.
In our opinion, if you’re travelling, then O2 is the best network choice. They’ve recently updated their proposition and reduced the costs on roaming.
They have released new tariffs and bolt-ons for all the travellers out there. With their Global Roamer or Global Roamer Extra you get more bang for your buck.
Adding Global Roamer to your tariff costs you nothing, you just need to ask us to update your details. Global Roamer Extra will cost you an extra £5 per month / per CLI (at the date of publication, July 2024).
On the table below you can see how much further your money will go, if you’re regularly travelling to any of these destinations you’ll be better off moving to Global Roamer Extra:
For just £5 per 24 hours, the following destinations can be added to your bill. This has come down from £7.50 per day…
As with all tariffs, there is a fair usage policy:
If customers use their mobiles in Europe Zone for more than 50% of the time in any 3-month rolling period, they will receive a notification requesting more moderate usage.
If customers use their mobiles in Europe Zone for more than 50% of the time in any 3-month rolling period, they will receive a notification requesting more moderate usage.
If the customer continues usage in the Europe Zone at over 50% in the subsequent 2-week period following first notification, customers will either be charged for use or barred from using our roaming service.
Standard charges apply once planned minutes and texts are used.
Unlimited Data plans are capped at 35GB per month.
Vodafone tariff charges for abroad roaming are dependent on when you first started using the tariff you’re currently on.
